I had the honor of marching beside you in the Seoul Pride Parade. As a 27 year old Korean transman who has returned to Korea after growing up as a 1.5 generation immigrant child in the States, I could identify with many aspects of your story. My journey to realizing my gender identity started with my national identity, then my sexual orientation before I could think about my gender identity. Although I am living in the closet since my return to the motherland earlier this year, I am trying to remember who I really am. Thank you for sharing your beautiful story. I hope that the next time that I meet you, I will have the courage to say hello.
